For a new project we are starting off, I was wondering
if there are off-the-shelf, preferably open-source
products that would do the job.
1. User Management: Provide an API for user
authorization, authentication etc.
2. Database versioning: In our application, we have an
extremely large database to which relatively minor
changes would occur over time. So, lets say with start
out with version 1.0 of the database, and then some
changes are committed to get to version 1.1. We want
to store the database at version 1.1, but also just
store the changes to get it back to 1.0. Almost,
something like a CVS for databases.
