- Made a decision on log rotation / syslog: All machines will broadcast directly to the state server nodes’ syslog from inside Go code. All machines will also write to a local file for unit-N machine-N logs. These logs will be rotated from within the Go code. The state servers will collect syslog to all-machines.log the way they currently are. Panics will be caught at the top level and written to all log targets before exiting.
