Remember that in some situations models may have completely different owners. #4 would be good to have so that the administrator for each model at least knows that an upgrade is available. A per-model flag which indicates that the model should automatically upgrade when the controller does might be nice too (this what #7 means I think?). This would be convenient when all the models for a controller are owned and managed by the same people - especially for less critical deployments. - Menno
