Hello all! I'm happy to announce the release of Charm Tools 1.0, a milestone which brings many improvements to the charm-tools project.
--- You can install the latest charm-tools by adding ppa:juju/stable and installing the charm-tools package. For Windows users, please see https://juju.ubuntu.com/docs/tools-charm-tools.html#intro --- This release introduces a large re-write to the charm-tools project. All changes are outlined below: - All sub-commands are now written in Python. Available as a Python package - Charm Tools re-structured as juju plugin (`juju charm`) - Improvements to `create` sub-command - Microsoft Windows (7 & 8) build - New icon - Updated reference guide on the Juju Docs https://juju.ubuntu.com/docs/tools-charm-tools.html --- Additional information on the release can be found here: https://launchpad.net/charm-tools/trunk/1.0 --- In order to continue providing the best charm author experience, bug fixes and features will be released on a regular basis and announced here in the list. A daily build ppa will be made available soon for those interested in the latest charm-tools and regular stable releases will and in the stable ppa with backport requests to other versions of Ubuntu.
