Hello there, this error is unfortunately very unhelpful. It can mean that
you have some other package which explicitly conflicts with something
apt-get is trying to install (e.g. if you have some kind of BLAS library
that says it conflicts with openblas, ATLAS and libblas for instance), or
it could mean that you have some package that is in a weird not-installed
yet not-uninstalled state. Please read through this SO
answer<http://askubuntu.com/questions/223237/unable-to-correct-problems-you-have-held-broken-packages>,
try out their solutions (in particular `apt-get install -f julia`, `dpkg
--configure -a` and `sudo aptitude install julia`) and let us know what
those solutions come up with.
