I don't remember this being announced previously, but I was trying out
koding.com, a kind of collaborative, online IDE/VM manager service, and one
of their 3 builtin apps is a Julia app! Installing that app runs through
the process of installing Julia 0.3, ipython, and IJulia! It was 100%
painless (and automatic) for me, and although the VM it's running on is
doubtless sharing resources with hundreds of other VMs and therefore likely
can't do truckloads of computation, it does seem to be a relatively
painless way to try out IJulia in an environment dedicated to you, where
you can upload files and data and whatnot to the server.
