I'm not surprised that current versions of the NLreg package fail on 0.2.0 - I haven't been careful to maintain backward compatibility.
My guess is that it is FloatingPoint that is not defined in 0.2.0. It was actually because of a suggestion you made, Mark, that I templated these types to allow for later extensions to Float128 or BigFloat. There are now some general matrix factorizations that can apply to types like BigFloat. It may be better in the short term to remove the templates and just keep in mind that they could be added later. Fixing that problem would probably not make NLreg 0.2.0-compatible. There have been so many changes in Stats, StatsBase, DataArrays, DataFrames and the numerical linear algebra that it would be easier to install the development version of Julia than to try to back-port a package like NLreg that is under development.
