I don't know if anyone else in Julialand is playing with this kind of thing but my Spark Core (https://www.spark.io/) arrived yesterday so I've put together the beginnings of a Julia package to talk to it:
https://github.com/burrowsa/SparkCloud.jl Currently the full Tinker API is supported as well as making function calls to custom firmware but I'm planning on getting the remaining API features implemented too. If you are playing with with Spark Cloud from Julia then do get in touch I'd be interested to chat about what you're doing and compare notes. Andy
