[julia-users] build from 32 bit 2.1 sources

Greetings,  I pulled down the sources for 0.3.0 pre release and tried to 
build 32 bit on AMD Athlon II processor with success; however, three of the 
unit tests fail--- issue #6922.  In the interim I would like to pull the gz 
tarball sources for 2.1   The build fails with a git error; apparently the 
git repository does not exist (or something).  What is the correct way to 
pull the 2.1 sources and build, so that I can get my 32 bit machine working?
