Here is my basic implementation of a GA in Julia. Using similar code in c++ I get 100ms, 100 also in node.JS, 170 for c#, 1800 for CPython and 650 for the Python code in Pypy. I expected performance somewhere between the node and the Pypy result. However, I was quite saddened that I only get 1000ms in Julia! I suspect I might not be doing something correctly -> which is why I am here. Thanks all!
