On Linux, it seems to work well, and reports suggest that it works on Macs as well. On Windows, acquisition works, but there seems to be some stability issues. I also have a pull request that I'm about to merge for better camera device name detection on all platforms. Until that happens, there are default names which might work, but you might have to find the name of your camera device in order to use it. Anyway, if you run into any problems, please open an issue in the VideoIO repo. Cheers!
