You are right - this behaves differently than what people would expect. But it is hidden in a module, and not exported, so should be no problem. I just use it to code that I can read more easily.
But for the sake of this discussion, I really just wanted to understand what the problem was. Thank you both for the replies - the example in the documentation made it pretty clear. Christoph
