Not that I think it would matter for your problem (I wouldn't know). I just know a friend who had problems with Julia at work, because of firewall issues (for packages I think, he didn't get to much into the problem and gave up). I assume(d) he'd just have to work that out as it in not Julia's fault or anything it can do to open firefalls. Maybe that was just a misunderstanding.
