I believe you can do it this way:
draw(PNG("hi_res.png", 1inch, 1inch, dpi=300), p)

You might have to run the latest master of Gadfly.. not sure this is in a
released version of Gadfly yet.
Run Pkg.checkout("Gadfly") to get the latest master. Pkg.free("Gadfly") to set
it back to the released version.
