Gabriel,

Thanks so much. I think I understand and will spend more time learning 
Gadfly. I did have that other question which is if you start using a module 
with "using" (such as: using Gadfly) and then want to use a different 
module which conflicts such as PyPlot, can you undo the "using Gadfly"?
