Thanks Jarrett! This work is the product of a Julia Summer of Code project. Please kick the tires, we're planning letting the new code sit on master for a bit before tagging a new release. Users of Julia 0.3 will be stuck on the old API, since the code makes extensive use the generated function feature of Julia 0.4.
