With Julia 0.4 now at the stage of Release Candidates, I am interested in
upgrading Julia on my Ubuntu laptop from 0.3 to 0.4. I notice that the
regular "stable" ppa (juliareleases) is still at 0.3. Meanwhile, the
"unstable" ppa (julianightlies) is 0.4 (as expected), but it's marked as
0.4.0-2664 and not 0.4.0-rc1 (and it was compiled before rc2 was released,
so I'm assuming it's not rc2).

Is the julianightlies ppa currently providing the release candidates, or is
it going to remain with the most recent "unstable" Julia version? If the
latter, would it be possible for the juliareleases ppa to temporarily carry
both 0.3 and the 0.4 release candidate? My understanding is that this can
be done fairly easily by having transitional packages.
