It depends on your project and you. If you're ready to make some code changes here and there and maintain an adequate test suite for your purposes, then I think it's plenty ready for production. You can always pick a release that you like and pin all your packages to ensure stability.
The biggest change coming down the pipeline (IMO) is with arrays... specifically we're moving towards views becoming standard when indexing, and so there will be lots of code that depend on slicing arrays making copies, which will no longer happen implicitly.
