It's completely understandable to not be free to upgrade. Unfortunately,
module precompilation is a highly non-trivial change that cannot reasonably
be backported to the 0.3 branch, which is now in maintenance mode. The best
you can do is to bake the necessary packages into your system image
via the userimg
