Sure can. I'll answer some of this now. The first thing to note is a lot of the workaound was a result of the arbitrary nature of this distro rather than ARM per se, however, at the same time expect that ARM will more likely be associated with previously unseen OS since it is likely to be tailored to the processor and the processor is tailored to the task/device/application. In this case, the processor was likely chosen for its ability to work at low wattage while still delivering enough CPU to do the task.
