Just curious, is this just a test, or is there a good reason to use non-pure "[Lic]C"/more complicated solution? I think, in pure Julia you can also flush manually (C semantics), I'm not sure if you have too/it's an option or depends on what functions you use.. -- Palli. P.S. It's good to know you can use Libc (or C) with Julia. Only things I can really think of that matter are Libc.malloc /free etc. in rare cases..
