On my mac (and the several other macs I have tried) the following command in Julia 0.4.5
eig(rand(3000,3000)) causes Julia to crash. It seems to run fine on my linux machines and JuliaBox. Anyone run into this and know of a work around? Julia 0.5.0 on the mac seems not to have this issue.
