As I noted in the other thread, it's still shaky right now. Remember, v0.5-rc is for package developers to get all of the packages working together. There was a new tagged version of PyCall which seems to have caused issues with at least a few of its dependencies (like PyPlot and IJulia). This is supposed to (and likely will) be all fixed by the time the last release candidate comes out and most things will work together if you checkout the master (or dev) branch on all of the dependencies.
