Bob, if you could check your set-up I'd really appreciate it. I don't
think there should "technically" be a problem running OpenJUMP-1.0.1
on my Java 1.5 environment.

If you can confirm that you are running OpenJUMP on Java 1.5 then I
can look in other places for my problem.

I'm also going to try a post on the Debian mailing list.
