no, this relates all to the WPVS, a WMS-like web service that renders
images in 3D. For details see its documentation available from

Ugo wrote a small WPVS-Client plugin for deeJUMP, but that was for an
old version of the WPVS interface IIRC. As far as I know there exists
a web client and a standalone (Swing?) client for the WPVS.

The old WPVS client will only have painted the picture as returned
from the WPVS, so there's no 3D involved on the client side.

The deegree mailing lists will answer many questions about the WPVS :)
