For details see its documentation available from http://wald.intevation.org/plugins/scmsvn/viewcvs.php/docs/documentation/wpvs/?root=deegree Ugo wrote a small WPVS-Client plugin for deeJUMP, but that was for an old version of the WPVS interface IIRC. As far as I know there exists a web client and a standalone (Swing?) client for the WPVS. The old WPVS client will only have painted the picture as returned from the WPVS, so there's no 3D involved on the client side.
