Larry, I've added back in the LoadDataSet to the context menu, at some point we should look at removing it if we can remove all the dependencies such as ArcSDE to it.
For the memory leak it was related to the fact that I added a layer directly to a category rather than using the layer manager. So the layer manager was not able to clean up the layer. I've changed it to use layer manager so it seems to work now. If I get the chance I'll have a look at cleaning up the layer manager/category code so that adding items directly to a category would be cleaned up when the task is closed.
