O.K. Paul. I don't see any reason why my sos-utility.jar can't go in /lib/ext/surveyos. I don't even think I will need to change the code, since our launch scripts are automatically setting up the classpath now.
I'll make that change on my next release at SourceForge. Thanks for offering to help.
