I hope to wrap up the internationalization of the Super Select tool
this week. (It was a lot more work than I thought it would be. I now
have a lot of respect for those who performed the original
internationalization of JUMP that we benefit from in OpenJUMP.)

I know that a couple of people had some problems installing my
plug-in. (This was not their fault, of course, but was due to my poor
installation instructions.) I have a plan to write a simple plug-in
installer/updater for OpenJUMP. The code would basically take a zip
file of a plug-in and its libraries and install them in the
appropriate location.

Has anyone written code similar to this for OpenJUMP? (I don't want to
duplicate someone's existing code.) Are there any comments or concerns
about this idea? (I will package the installer as a plug-in itself, so
there doesn't need to be a discussion about including this
functionality in the core.)

If you have comments on this idea I would appreciate them. I plan to
start work on the installer next week, so if you can let me know
before then it would be great.
