Hello Jukka, Stefan.

You can find this feature (synchronize views) in Kosmo. Perhaps you can take
the code and use it for your needs. Also you can define selection symbol
color (not width). I am not developer but if you need some more detailed
information you can ask to kosmo developers team for help.

I have seen such thing at IGN France... and asked for the code a while ago
(12 months?). The problem was, that they needed to seperate it from a lots
of other code and they did not have the time. Maybe Michael Michaud can help
to connect you to this person???

mhm.. this should be doable as well.
