I've decided to change the tone of the plug-in programmer's guide I am writing. I'm going to use a less formal tone and will speak in the first person. One reason I am making this change is I would like to offer some advice on plug-in development that may not be the "official position" of our user community. For example: In the section on packaging and distributing plug-ins for OpenJUMP I'll demonstrate how to use my plug-in installer for OpenJUMP. This isn't really an "official" OpenJUMP tool.
I think my personalizing the guide will make it easier to inject my own advice, tips, and opinions. I hope there are no objections to this. If you guys think this change merits a modification to the title of the guide (to something like "The Sunburned Surveyors OpenJUMP Plug-in Programming Guide") just let me know.
