Hei Christopher, the Swiss national mapping agency offers some sample sets of DHM data in different formats:
http://www.swisstopo.admin.ch/internet/swisstopo/en/home/products/downloads/height.html e.g. the Matterhorn example of the DHM25 may be nice (one of the well known swiss mountains) http://www.swisstopo.admin.ch/internet/swisstopo/en/home/products/downloads/height/dhm25.html unfortnately the description file is only in german (I guess a french version is available too.. in case this is better for you), but you will get the main content, of what is what for a file. The dataset should also contain break lines. If there are questions, just ask. ..mhm intersting I just see that they have as well developed their own distribution format: BMBLT... but it is not triangulated stefan PS: a good single word en-de translator: http://dict.leo.org PPS: some translation on the BMBLT format in case you will have a look on this: Kollonne = column BK = Breaklines Koten = height points O = open line g = closed line Christopher schrieb: > --- On Tue, 7/1/08, Sunburned Surveyor <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >> Besides, I'll bet we can track down some >> vector input for >> JTin from somwhere.
