It took me a while but I could find a way to delete pages and files. And yes, I changed the group settings now, so that only administrators can add files and pages. I am sorry for this - but it looks like this is the only way to avoid porn-adds.
However, if somebody sees a need for adding pages and files I should be able to grant him the rights. The people that currently have admin rights for list are Sunburned, Michael and I.
