I need the ability to write world files for images based on waypoints
collected at features visible in the photographs. I was going to do
this by writing a plug-in for ImageJ. However, I know that Erwan (and
maybe some others) were doing GIS related work with ImageJ previously,
as mentioned on this list. Did anything come of this work? I don't
want to reinvent the wheel.

P.S. - ImageJ looks like it has a great "pluggable" architecture like
OpenJUMP. I think a a distro of ImageJ with some GIS related plug-ins
would be a great complement to a vector-based GIS like OJ. :]
