Seems to me that we need a attribute/property sheet similar to the property window in Netbeans GUI designer, which can load any feature with any number of attributes of supported data types. This can be used for inspecting/editing purpose.
I had a go about this a while back and decided to go for a more customized property viewer for the specific feature I'm dealing with - restaurants. But a generic attribute viewer is still very nice to have.
