yep, we should do that (i.e. it makes sense)

not sure, as we it is more easy to extend a table towards the bottom - 
with respect to screen dimension limits.

I didn't understand this.


Finally - I am not really planning to do any of those changes now, but 
would do such changes for a 1.3.x release. So.. please can you add the 
items to the feature-request list?
