I'd like to get some thoughts on the best practice for error handling within the org.openjump.core.apitools package. When an exception or error is encountered, do we want to throw the error up to the client code? Or should we alert the user directly through the WorkbenchFrame?
I'm thinking the error should be thrown to client code, since the classes in this package might be used outside of OpenJUMP. Any comments?
