Hei Luca, your ideas on what you would want to work sound good to me. Important for us is, that you start with the things that (i) you feel most comfortable with, (ii) give you not a difficut start, and (ii) that are useful for you. Every contribution (documention or plugin) is welcome! And if there is a certain amount of interest and make sense a new development can be integrated into the official OpenJUMP. If we need to modifiy the core for your developments then you would need to post a detailed message saying what must be done and why, and at least 2 core developers need to agree on a change to the core.
In case you want write access to the SVN, that is possible too - but we would review first 1-2 plugins that you have writen, i.e. see some sample code to assess your programming skills. I wish you a good start for 2010 too stefan luca marletta schrieb: > Hi all and The Sunburned Surveyor, > > Thanks for your reply and welcoming. > > I'd be very proud to be, in same way, in the development team. > > What I can do for now if you agree could be these points: > > - analyze the Z 3D aspect for OJ > - try to hack AdB tool > http://www.pcn.minambiente.it/PCN/adbtoolbox.php?lan=it for OJ > in my opinion it could give to openjump a great bounce ahead > I can translate from italian from everyone interested. > > - develop some plugins.
