Hi Edgar, I would like to help with OJ GPS support, if we talk about live GPS support. For *nix systems we should have a gpsd(http://gpsd.berlios.de/) support. If I use a gps device, then I use it mostly with more than one application which consumes GPS data. So the gpsd is a great solution :-)
