I've successfully downloaded and extracted:
http://jump-pilot.sourceforge.net/download/nightlybuild/snapshot-2010-10-07/openjump-core-1.4-SNAPSHOT-bin.zip
md5sum gives d3704694bef5f8eb1af22d3c3fc46486
which is same as the md5sum of the original archive
from the build server. So everything seems to be fine.
