yes, this should be possible - as long as it doesn't need to be a 
web-based application. Since OJ is a desktop client.
more info on how to use OpenJUMP with PostGIS can be found on the wiki 
[1], the OpenJUMP 1.3 tutorial [2], and in the PostGIS in Action book 
(by Regina Obe and Leo Hsu).
