I could not reproduce your problem with the following sequence (OpenJUMP 1.4.0.2 + Windows Vista) : - create a new layer - create some points - with vertex symbol dialog, set Vector symbol - save layer as jml - save project as test.jmp - close OpenJUMP - open OpenJUMP - open test.jmp project -> symbol is there Can you report exactly in which condition it does not work.
