So well, then why don't we simply have no image there. Which seems the best solution for me.
Because for me it doesn't work if a) I can not read the text from a normal viewer position b) I can not identify the "symbol" from a normal position. .. no matter how beautiful the colors are or the composition is. Because the image/logo was designed to be presented in its "normal" position. If you present the Mona Lisa with 90degrees tilted in the Louvre - people will not be happy about it either. stefan On 22/02/2012 4:46 AM edgar.sol...@web.de wrote: > On 22.02.2012 03:38, ment...@users.sourceforge.net wrote: >> Revision: 2746 >> >> http://jump-pilot.svn.sourceforge.net/jump-pilot/?rev=2746&view=rev >> Author: mentaer >> Date: 2012-02-22 02:38:24 +0000 (Wed, 22 Feb 2012) >> Log Message: >> ----------- >> improved image by removing color from lower part >> > better, but still not the visual appeal of the big OpenJUMP writing with > subline. > main issues are: > > - lower demo graphic has no smooth contours, kinda ugly typo and therefor > results in a cheapish look, lacking a charisma of value. > - upper logo: split up OpenJUMP is difficult, words seem to float there > unanchored, aligning against each other seems unsettled > - you probably would like to connect the oj writing and the kangaroo for a > more steady impression > > i am skeptical in general of the approach as i don't see a way to fit logo > (kangaroo)& logo writing (OJ) horizontally aligned into this narrow space > and have it still looking appealing. > > ..ede > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Virtualization& Cloud Management Using Capacity Planning > Cloud computing makes use of virtualization - but cloud computing > also focuses on allowing computing to be delivered as a service. > http://www.accelacomm.com/jaw/sfnl/114/51521223/ > _______________________________________________ > Jump-pilot-devel mailing list > Jump-pilot-devel@lists.sourceforge.net > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jump-pilot-devel ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Virtualization & Cloud Management Using Capacity Planning Cloud computing makes use of virtualization - but cloud computing also focuses on allowing computing to be delivered as a service. http://www.accelacomm.com/jaw/sfnl/114/51521223/ _______________________________________________ Jump-pilot-devel mailing list Jump-pilot-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jump-pilot-devel
