I think you monitor them more than me now - because the notification doesn't work anymore that well.
However, we still receive quite a number of questions, hence, I agree that we should have at minimum one open forum. And yes, I guess we should close 2 of them. Maybe we should close "OpenJUMP Installation Problems" and "Problems with PlugIns", and the rename the remaining "OpenJUMP Functions Problems" to "OpenJUMP General: Help, Questions and Suggestions".. or so? I actually can see that a couple of people can login with lots of other accounts (Google etc.) So when if we close them to anonymous comments for a while it should be ok. And I also see now that we can actually add email forwards too, e.g. to the user or devel list? stefan On 15/03/2012 4:56 PM, Michaël Michaud wrote: > Le 15/03/2012 22:06, Stefan Steiniger a écrit : >> I made some of the forums only accessible with login. >> But re-opened them a few days later - that worked. > Thanks for the tip, I'll try it next time. > > By the way, I think most forums could be closed as there is a very low > traffic > (I know you monitor them more seriously than me Stefan, so what's your > feeling ?) > I think one forum would be enough by now. > I would not go up to close them all as Ede suggested, because I think > people who don't have a developper background will generally use a forum to > ask questions, but not a bug tracker. > > Michaël. > >> you want to try it? >> stefan >> >> On 15/03/2012 6:45 AM, edgar.sol...@web.de wrote: >>> On 14.03.2012 23:41, Michaël Michaud wrote: >>>> Hi, >>>> >>>> Several threads in our forum are poluted on a daily basis by spams. >>>> I did not find a way to stop it. >>>> Does anybody know how to set spam filters in sourceforge forums ? >>>> >>> can't find any options regarding this. as everybody can post without any >>> verification (login, captcha) we cannot do anything about it. >>> >>> we can delete them afterwards though. once again, if it'd be my decision >>> i'd retire the forums in favor of the trackers, which easily serve the same >>> purpose. >>> >>> ..ede >>> >>> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ >>> This SF email is sponsosred by: >>> Try Windows Azure free for 90 days Click Here >>> http://p.sf.net/sfu/sfd2d-msazure >>> _______________________________________________ >>> Jump-pilot-devel mailing list >>> Jump-pilot-devel@lists.sourceforge.net >>> https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jump-pilot-devel >> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ >> This SF email is sponsosred by: >> Try Windows Azure free for 90 days Click Here >> http://p.sf.net/sfu/sfd2d-msazure >> _______________________________________________ >> Jump-pilot-devel mailing list >> Jump-pilot-devel@lists.sourceforge.net >> https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jump-pilot-devel >> >> > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > This SF email is sponsosred by: > Try Windows Azure free for 90 days Click Here > http://p.sf.net/sfu/sfd2d-msazure > _______________________________________________ > Jump-pilot-devel mailing list > Jump-pilot-devel@lists.sourceforge.net > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jump-pilot-devel ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF email is sponsosred by: Try Windows Azure free for 90 days Click Here http://p.sf.net/sfu/sfd2d-msazure _______________________________________________ Jump-pilot-devel mailing list Jump-pilot-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jump-pilot-devel
