Is there any extension that can offer support for importing digital
elevation models (DEM's), like SRTM or Aster GDEM, in Open Jump?
I'm not an expert about image and DEM processing, but yes, Sextante is
the best way to go.
There has also been interesting development for image and dem processing
in AdbToolbox
(http://www.pcn.minambiente.it/GN/adbtoolbox.php?lan=en) but it is a bit
painful to get an activation code
I've read that Sextante has basic hydrological analysis and relief
analysis tools, so I was wondering if it also gives DEM import
capabilities to Open Jump.
I know that Asc format can be read in OpenJUMP, I'm not aware of another
format
