Hi,
I believe that sometimes people would like to keep also the original X and Y fields when they import CSV data. How about having a "Import coordinates also as attributes" check box?
Wouldn't it be better to make this feature independant from the driver ? What do you think of a plugin with the following options : add X, add Y and add Zeventually merged with the plugin 'Calculate areas and lengths' (but adding attributes instead of choosing)
