Is the bug report 3521940 the only problem for the National Land Survey
of Finland data
or is there also the problem of zip files containing xml files (which
was a slightly different problem) ?

Hi,
The National Land Survey of Finland has just released all topographic
data as open data. One delivery format is zipped shapefiles. Each zip
contains many shapefiles and there are now thousands such zips around
(total size 9 GB as compressed). Without this bug OpenJUMP would be an
ideal tool for browsing their contents.

If somebody has an idea about how to fix this bug I am willing to
raise the motivation with some financial support.
