Hi,
I do not know if this is error in Sextante or in OpenJUMP, but here is the
description. There is a corresponding image at
http://latuviitta.org/documents/OJ_Sextante_Endpoints_error.png
- I digitized three linestings from left to right
- I used the sextante tool Topology - Extract endpoints of lines
The attribute table of the resulting point layer seems to be wrong.
Blue labels in the middle of the lines are line FIDs. Black labels come from
the LINEFID field of the extracted points.
There are FIDS 1, 2, and 3 in the source layer. I suppose that the "LINEFID"
attribute of the point layer should use these same fids but there is an offset.
The very first point which is a start point of linestring with FID=1 is having
LINEFID=0. Startpoint of linestring 2 has LINEFID=1. I also believe that start
points shoud have attribute ISSTART=1 but now all the start points have a value
ISSTART=0.
Tool seems to create an faulty point which is like an end point of non-existing
linestring with FID=0. This leads to an offset and wrong attribute values for
all the extracted end points.
