About the window bug, I gave you some feedback because :
- you wrote you wanted to fix it before next release (but I'll also try
to have a look this w-e)
- It seems to be related to a recent change (so, probably a fix I or you
did)

Here are some simple tests (independant or inter-related bugs ?)
1 -
- Open OpenJUMP and clone the empty view (Window>Clone Window) : the
clone is active
- Open editing toolbox and click on Create point cursorTool :
over the inactive window (project 1), cursol tool is a pen
over the active window (clone), cursor tool is a select arrow
- Even if clone is active, I can't do anything with it (selection, zoom,
pan, edit, nothing
   seems to work

2 -
- Open OpenJUMP and create a second project - mosaic the two windows
- Open editing toolbox and activate project 1
- Select create point and create a point in project 1
- Activate project 2
- Select create point tool and create a point in project 2
- Make a pan in project 2, then select create point tool again
- Create a point in project 2 : OK
- Now go to project 1 nd without activating it, create a point (click)
in the window
==> create a point away from your curso !

3 -
- create two projects (File>New>New project) and make a mosaic
- Choose edit point cursor tool and create one point in the active project
- now click in the second project view (without activating it) ->
