well, the whole zip file opening is a corner use case ;).. but, in terms of 
user experience i vote: either fully or not at all. i think silently ignoring 
files is not what a user'd expect.

let me try to disable dummy reader, but add it only to the list offered for 
compresses archives. this would unintentionally also open the possibility to 
selectively open files from archives. 

we should definitely rename the reader to IgnoreFileReader btw.. at least the 
speaking description in the gui, as this is what it does.
