I am using the looks plugin because I am using OpenJUMP on Gnome, so many times I feel the need of change my skin to metal to have the perfect working of OpenJUMP looks plugin (bty the Metal works fine on all application but the menus are loaded as looks plugin face). My problem is that the behaviour of metal skin dos not applies to Output Window. I just thing somebody forget it. I don't know if it occours in other plattaform, please take a look on this. Try to use validation (without any error the Output Window will ask you to click on it). For example, if the plugin is in use all the windows are missing the upper-right corner cross for closing the window.
